In this workshop we'll learn about all the topics that take care in the creation of a quality digital photography. We'll not only cover digital retouch, we will start talking about all the important things that we'll have to keep in mind even before start working with the computer: The how and why of the shooting format, color spaces and modes, the camera preparation and how to make the most of our digital camera sensor; all of them are aspects that are commonly forgotten, which are unaboidable in quality digital photography.

Once we've got our photos ready to the digital treatment, we'll talk deeply about Adobe Photoshop, using the mots powerful and innovative tools to work comfortably.

You'll have a computer only for you, and you'll put in practice all the topics as they are explained, guided by the teacher.

We'll not only take care of the commonly known tools and functions, but also we'll discover a new advanced work method which will allow to multiply your creativity and productivity, talking about intereseting things like adjustment layers, intelligent objects and filters, and a logical usage of the masks; a retouching method that have its origins in the film laboratory work, used nowadays by renowned advertising and fashion photographers. It's so great that you'll never want to retouch the old way.

Maybe the most amusing part (but not less interesting), will come when we'll take a look to specific creative techinques, with which we'll put the learned techniques to work, and we'll finally find that special look you're searching for your photos.

A workshop that will become very useful to you even if you are already using Photoshop for your digital treatmentm but you don't know yet about all its potential.

How the workshop is done?

• One day, 9 hours, organized on saturday
• 15 seats maximum
• Teached in spanish
• Coniditioned classroom in centric areas of Madrid or Barcelona
• Each student has his own computer during the workshop, to put the explanations in practice
• Adobe Photoshop is used for the examples. The contents are valid for the CS2, CS3 and CS4 versions
• Each student ends the workshop with a complete digital treatment of one of its photos, putting into practice the newly acquired knowledgments.

• Saturday morning, from 9 to 14 hours
• Saturday afternoon, from 15 to 19 hours

Who is it aimed at, and what's required?

• For photographers with not much expertise in photographic digital treatment.

En primer lugar agradecer a Lorenzo su poder de comunicación. He realizado otros talleres en los que a la segunda hora estaba totalmente disperso y sin interés por el tema, en esta ocasión estuve atento las 8 horas. La fotografía es como la cocina, puedes tener los mejores ingredientes y ser un buen cocinero, pero si no presentas el plato correctamente, pierde muchísimo; con este curso aprendes a presentar el plato y aunque los ingredientes y el cocinero sean regulares el resultado final siempre será aceptable.

Creo que fue muy interesante para mí. Ayudó el hecho que todos los asistentes teníamos (aparentemente) niveles similares en cuanto a retoque de imágenes por ordenador. El profesor excelente, buena predisposición, buen pedagogo, interesado en si entendíamos las explicaciones o no... y tenía muy buenos conocimientos sobre el tema ...
